In April 2010 the Strong Kids Campaign raised $1.3 million dollars in contributions to support YMCA community programs targeted at youth and their families. In 2011 the Strong Kids Campaign raised an additional $1.5 million dollars. In total, $2.8 million dollars was raised by the campaign in 2010-2011. Patrick was chosen by Washington Law and Politics as a Rising Star in 2000 and 2001 and was also voted a Top Lawyer 2001-2006 and 2011, 2012. In 2009 he was chosen by Washington Law and Politics magazine as a Top Personal Injury Lawyer. Patrick has produced and moderated two television programs: The Peoples Law School and LawTalk. These programs provide consumers with information about our legal system, and citizens rights and remedies under the law. Each program surveyed of an area of law presented by judges, attorneys and public officials. Thirty-three (33) programs were produced. The Peoples Law School program was given the Outstanding Community Service Awardin 2003 by the Washington Society of Association Executives, and was also recognized nationally by the American Bar Association with its Outstanding Public Service Award. He has written chapters for the WSAJ Automobile Accident Desk Bookand the WSAJ Automobile Accident Litigation Desk Book”. In 2012 he was awarded the Outstanding Service Award from the Tacoma Pierce County Bar Association.
